News from the Front[/b][/size]: The First and Second Divisions of the Soviet Army have invaded United Kingdom. Nearly twenty regiments have landed since the start of the invasion only a few hours ago, and have already destroyed nearly all resistance. London is expected to be taken and the seat of Parliament occupied by morning. Assisting the USSR onslaught are volunteer brigades from Ireland's IRRA.
Information is scarce at this stage. I, Rigel Kent, will try my best but I am grabbing at all the hearsay and rumors I can find.
By the looks of things here in United Kingdom the British have been taken completely by surprise. USSR forces began moving in around midnight Eastern Standard Time, slipping in unnoticed by regional defenses. The capital is defended by five regiments (nations) endorsing Neo Bretania, but combined allied forces under USSR have amassed a juggernaught of eighteen regiments as of this report. The regional activity has gone down considerably since the initial moments, but new soldiers do continue to arrive as the morning (GMT time) wears on.
USSR is acting on an alliance with Ireland. USSR is a very old ally of the region, and has given it their full support in the Northern Ireland situation. Imperial Germany, though a very old enemy of USSR, is oddly enough also a friend of Ireland and has sent soldiers to United Kingdom.
Several British regions have begun taking up arms after the recapture of Northern Ireland. Southern Addiscombe has begun a Pro-Northern Irish Loyalists forum hosted by her region, Great Britain 3. It is to act like a summit of British nations for the aim of taking back Northern Ireland. An army of nations from multiple British regions has also been proposed.
The primary Soviet objective is to begin the war between the Irish and British. "The second objective", says RedCommunist, "is to take the region." With the home region of the former Northern Ireland government firmly in Soviet hands, USSR may also end the war.
I'm Rigel Kent and I don't know what else to say.
