TAG invades Alpineholm: Apparently Alpineholm Was It
Alpineholm, Tactical Alliance Group: The dust has settled and the guns are now silent. The once independent region of Alpineholm is now under the rule of the Tactical Alliance Group (TAG). Comprised of thirteen regions and 500 nations, TAG’s goal is to become a powerful alliance in both offensive and defensive measures. The ultimate goal of TAG is to be seen as a “global force in the future, rivaling the ADN and hopefully beating them at every turn.” According to current Alpinholm delegate Commodore Nelson, this action was taken by TAG in retaliation for Alpinholm’s aggressive acts against Capitalism and Gondor. All three regions at the time were members of TAG. The group forced Alpineholm out of the alliance and after several Alpineholm UN multies were deleted, TAG invaded with an army of 30 UN nations. The region is currently passworded, and a ‘local government’ is being formed. According to Commodore Nelson, the only members who will not be allowed to take part in the regional government are Alberta2/3, adacan or Greater Buzurm.
Former member of the Alpineholm government, Alberta2, disagrees with Nelson’s side of the story. Apparently, after Alpineholm invaded Capitalism, Bowtieman’s region, The New Republic Near America, successfully defended Capitalism. Later, The New Republic Near America joined TAG, and asked that Alpineholm be removed from the Alliance. Alberta2 claims that they received orders to invade Gondor, and when they did, TAG counter-invaded Alpineholm. While Alpineholm successfully defended the region, several Alpineholmian nations were deleted for UN multi violations. Whether it was because of an unintentional rush by several people to save their region on the same computer, or a deliberate attempt to break the rules, TAG seized the opportunity to invade a delegateless region. Alberta2 thinks “TAG, as a whole, is a cowardly group that can’t set its priorities straight.” Alberta2 also had a message that he would like us to pass on; “Alpineholm will soon be back to its former glory and TAG will die out at the hands of this. The New Republic Near America - YOU ARE NEXT.”
While inter-regional struggles are nothing new to Nationstates, the ejection of regions from Alliances must be handled with tact and grace or former friends can turn into bitter enemies for months to come. This is Lari Sup, changing the outcome by observing it.
