Earlier we reported to you on the Polish Mafia's capture of Rome, and gave you a follow-up broadcast on it which featured an interview with Colonel Griffin of the Triumvirate, and an interview with a member of the PMGA. Here are those interviews:

Rigel Kent I'm sorry I do not have a collection of hard-hitting questions written down, I was able to schedule an interview with you quicker than most interviews
Colonel Griffin I understand.
Rigel Kent First off, what happened?
Colonel Griffin What happened, from my view, is that the desperate Polish Mafia took the region of Rome in order to make a stand of some kind. To try and show, whom ever they wanted to show, that they are not a region to mess with. Well in the end, they proved just how unorganized and undisciplined they actually are.
Rigel Kent So you liberated the region?
Colonel Griffin In a way, yes. Solarius has been known as an "Anti Region Crash" region.
Rigel Kent To most it looked as though you were from the GLA or the Rejected Realms Army. I myself thought you were from RAID or the Roman Empire.
Colonel Griffin Yes, well we (Solarius) are not known to go on the military defensive all too often. We have, but not frequently.
Rigel Kent It is surprising that you seem to be staying in Rome.
Colonel Griffin Me staying?
Rigel Kent Yes, it looks like an occupation will last a while. Its factbook describes Rome as a "province of The Triumvirate."
Rigel Kent Could you take a minute to tell our viewers a little bit about Solarius and the Triumvirate?
Colonel Griffin Of course. Solarius is apart of the "Triumvirate", an association of "Realms"/Regions, New Orion, Polarius, and Solarius. We are a strong alliance, supporting each other, and many of our members freely move between realms. Until recently we have been focusing on more of the military offensive, rather that defensive. We created a string of Army Camps, which are called upon in the event of an invasion of allies or Solarius Prime. Each of our camps is led by a "Colonel". And the Colonels are usually the one's leading our military operations. I am the only Colonel that has been on the Military Offensive.
Rigel Kent Why has Solarius attacked the Polish Mafia?
Colonel Griffin We have "attacked" the Polish Mafia on the grounds that they have invaded a peaceful region that has gone through much suffering.
Rigel Kent Why has Rome been annexed as a province?
Colonel Griffin They have seemed disorderly, and abandoned. Most of its nations are inactive, and have lost hope.
Rigel Kent So regional colonization, or region building? Some liberations of regions have worked like that, and turned out successful.
Rigel Kent Any word yet on what's to happen with the password?
Colonel Griffin I have successfully distinguished natives from invaders, and have delivered the password.
Rigel Kent That's reassuring. Many invaders (even defenders) often overlook that rule and run into trouble.
Rigel Kent Oh, one last question. Any ill will with the Polish Mafia or thoughts of meeting them later?
Colonel Griffin No ill will, I pity them, they are just a small group putting invasions of regions such as Rome before actual growth of their society.
Rigel Kent Colonel Griffin, it was nice being able to figure out Rome with you. Any last comments or statements you'd like to make before we leave? The mic is yours.
Colonel Griffin Well, I do have plans for Rome. But, those plans are yet to be disclosed, and I assure you, I only see success in Rome's future.

Rigel Kent Can you tell us what happened?
FistOne On March 6th, The Polish Mafia [PMGA] mobilized into two regions, Byzantium and Rome. Our forces were divided, thus our numbers were none to great. Because of the name reconition of Franken4Prez and FistOne 2, our efforts in Byzantium failed. However, our very small force in Rome managed to claim victory. The next morning, Rome was declared under the control of the PMGA.
Rigel Kent Why did you lose the region? What went wrong?
FistOne Upon seeing the situation in Rome, the colonial Triumverate saw an oppurtunity to extend their power. They must have got the password from a native region and came in while we were sleeping. The only thing that went wrong was our force being divided between two targets.
Rigel Kent Could you tell our viewers a little bit about the Polish Mafia?
FistOne The Polish Mafia is a group that is looking to be a political force in the world. As we gain name reconition and exposure, more people join. We hop that in the future, we can help all political causes and be a counter to the controllers of the Nationstates world. We have no connections to larger groups, only allies, and we are not the puppets of any cause. We are here mainly just to have fun and do something in the Nationstates world.
Rigel Kent Why has Solarius attacked the Polish Mafia in Rome?
FistOne I have no idea. I would guess they saw an exuse to expand their power under the pretense of liberation. The same political move that many regions and organizations do.
Rigel Kent What do you think of what's happened in Rome since the counter-invasion?
FistOne Well, it is good to see that a rule violation like the one that the Triumverate did is punnished like it should be. After three or four days of not giving out the password, I am glad action was taken. I do not beleive that it is so hard to hold a region that you cannot give out a password. Since this was an invasion, not putting a native back in power, the Triumverate is subjuct to the same rules that the PMGA is, but the PMGA follows the rules.
Rigel Kent What will the Polish Mafia do now?
FistOne Just have a look at California. We have a succesful mission there as we speak. Check it out. Maybe we will be back in the news.
Rigel Kent Any ill will against Solarius/The Triumvirate or thoughts of meeting them later?
FistOne I have no ill will against any foes we may come across, and I would urge them to follow the rules to a tee to avoid a tragic ruling like the one that happened in Rome. We are not bent on taking things over for ourselves, so if the Triumverate needs help in their colonial conquests, I hope they give us a call.
